About the Full Stack Web Developer Position
As a full stack web developer at Medimap you will have the opportunity to experience many different aspects of a growing start up and make meaningful contributions towards the company’s success. You will have a significant amount of autonomy over your work and some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining features across different technology stacks
- Working with the team to decide on new areas of development
- Investigating, identifying, and resolving any customer issues
- Maintaining and scaling multiple fleets of servers on the AWS cloud platform

Your day to day is …
- Contributing to the end to end development of consumer facing applications
- Building products designed to scale quickly like new patient interactions and new functionality that helps doctors optimize their Medimap experience
- Shipping efficient and scalable code to millions of users autonomously
- Collaborating with our agile team of dedicated and brilliant engineers, product managers, and designers. You will partner with the product and design teams to develop product improvements
- Making a meaningful impact as you own and release features that will impact patients and doctors
You’ll be successful in this role if you have …
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js
- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
- 3+ years of experienced with Cloud Computing, AWS preferred
- 3+ years of experience with React
- Experienced with lambdas/serverless computing
- Experienced with SQL databases
- Experience writing automated test
- Passion for technology and the ability to think critically about performance, scalability, and reliability of software
- Designed and built user facing web applications that scale
- A Computer Science or related degree (preferred)
